Short answer: Every genuine AMIGO box carries an anti-counterfeit label with a scratch-off area marked “SCAN QR CODE QUERY”. A genuine record returns four confirmations: Query Successful, First Query Time, Query Count and Anti-Counterfeit Code. That is the whole official method — four steps, one source to trust. You can type the code into the same page instead of scanning it.
This guide reproduces the method AMIGO publishes for its own products, then explains what each line of the result means, what a reused code can and cannot tell you, and what to do when a check returns something you did not expect. The scope is the code and the check. Seller rules and market rules are not covered here.
Where to find the verification code
The code is on the box, not on the device. Look for the anti-counterfeit label and the scratch-off panel printed on it. The panel is the part you remove. The code underneath is the part you scan.
AMIGO has issued two label generations, and the official authentication page names both. Which one you have changes how you start the check, not what the check proves.

This article documents the route the four published steps describe: scratch off the panel and scan the QR code. If your box carries the New Code label instead, follow the starting instruction published on the authentication page; this article does not assume where that route ends. Both published captions begin with the code on your box, so if the box carries no anti-counterfeit code at all, neither route can be completed.
Step-by-step verification
The published method is four steps. Keep the box and the label until you have read the result, because the code is the record you may need to quote later.

If your phone cannot read the QR code, open the verification page directly, type the code into the field and press Check. Typing reaches the same record as scanning. The verification box asks for the code and nothing else.
What each result means
A check produces a record, not a verdict. Read the four confirmations AMIGO publishes, then the two fields the result panel adds.

The panel can also attach up to three product images for the matched code. Those images show the product record, not the individual unit in your hand. On screen the panel prints Query Count as “Query times”; it is the same field.
Common signs of counterfeit Amigo products
Counterfeit packaging can copy what it can see. What it cannot copy is a record on AMIGO’s own system, which is why these signs all come back to the check.

No single row here settles whether a product is counterfeit. Each one is a reason to stop treating a unit as verified and to put the question to AMIGO.
What to do if the code shows an unexpected query count
A count above one is a signal, not a verdict. AMIGO’s guidance is specific: if the code has been queried before, check the First Query Time and the Query Count carefully, because an unexpectedly high query count may indicate that the code has been copied or misused. Work through the steps below in order.
- Enter the code by hand once. A misread character can send a valid code down the error path, so confirm what you typed before drawing any conclusion.
- Put First Query Time next to your purchase. If the first recorded check predates the day you bought the device, the code was in circulation before you had it.
- Compare the recorded fields with what you have. Check the recorded Anti-Counterfeit Code against the code on your own label, and the recorded serial number against your unit if that unit carries one. If it does not, keep the recorded serial and the code for AMIGO.
- Keep the box, the scratched label and your purchase record. The code, the serial number and the first query time are what AMIGO needs to look the unit up.
- Contact AMIGO and quote the details. Send the code, the serial number, the first query time, the query count and the point of purchase to the official AMIGO contact address, sales@amigovape.com.
Until the record is explained, treat the device as unverified rather than genuine. Be careful with the number itself as well: the brand’s wording is that a high count may indicate a copied or misused code, so the field tells you to look closer rather than settling the question on its own.
